Durban, Saturday, 11th August 2018 - Van der Burgh raced to victory in the 100m breastroke posting a qualifying time of 57.63 seconds at the 2018 SA National Swimming Championships (25m) held at the Kings Park Aquatics Centre in Durban. Michael Houlie finished second behind him in 59.28 with Alaric Basson bagging bronze in 1:00.16.

Durban, Friday, 10th August 2018 - The country's top swimmers are in action at the 2018 SA National Swimming Championships (25m) held at the Kings Park Aquatics Centre where FINA World Swimming Short-Course Championships (25m) places are up for grabs. Coetzee and Rio Olympics finalist Brad Tandy and talented youngster Rebecca Meder dipped below the qualifying marks in their respective events.

Durban, Thursday, 9th August 2018 - Olympic champion Chad le Clos highlighted the first day of the 2018 SA National Swimming Championships (25m) at the Kings Park Aquatics Centre on Thursday, 9 August 2018. Le Clos was the first swimmer to qualify for the 14th FINA World Swimming Short-Course Championships (25m) in China from 11th to 16th December 2018.
