Swimming South Africa runs various training programmes for members of the Federation. These programmes are sometimes run in conjunction with other organisations, and are aimed at providing a high quality service to develop competencies within Aquatics in South Africa.

SSA’s programmes aim at addressing the many different competencies required to run an effective sports organisation, including coaching, officiating, administration and many others.

SSA is constantly developing new education packages, and will soon offer more courses aimed at all disciplines of the Aquatics sports.

It is very important that when choosing a Learn to Swim instructor for your child, you ensure that the instructor is SSA qualified and that the school is an SSA accredited centre. This way you will know that your child is in the hands of qualified people who have trained to offer safe and quality services.
