The official home of aquatics in South Africa

Rural Splash

Purpose

South Africa has an abundance of natural resources, which make the necessity of the Learn to swim a priority within our country. Rural South Africa has in the most part been left off this drive to teach the country to swim. The reason for this is the assumption that the transference of the life skill of swimming is linked to a swimming pool. With a huge percentage of our population living in rural areas and the reality is that there will never, in the near future, be sufficient swimming pools in these areas to cover the need for learn to swim in these communities.
